The report for the year ended June 30th last states i that the sum spent on development dur- ing the year amounted to £23,666 At SCSEU MARU, Japanese str. 1,139, R. the close of the year 1,610 acres had been planted with rubber, the crops secured Lotalled 22,133lb., and the estimate for the current year is 38,000lb. RUBBER PLANTATIONE, accounts for the year to September 30th last show a debit balance of £1,288, which reduces the credit balance brought for- ward from last year to £338, which it is proposed to carry forward. The rubber erop harvested amounted to 18,165ib. For the year 1913-14 the manager estimates a rubber crop of 45,000ib.

GLENSHIEL RUBBER ESTATES COMPANY, LIMITED-The directors siste that, in view of the uncertainty as to the price of rubber, and having regard to the fact that, as indicated by the chairman in his speech at the last annual general meeting,

will be necessary to reserve out of the current year's profit a farther amount to meet capital expendituro, they consider it, prudent not to declare an interim dividend. The estate cost to the end of October, exclusive of commission to staff and depreciation, was it 8d. per pound, as compared with Is, 11d. per pound for the period ended Decorber 31st, 1912.
