For the Lugard Scholarship: Miss Eva Figueiredo had been adjudged as the winner for 1919 The award for 1913 has not yet been made.,

His Lordship Bishop PozzoNI offered sincere congratulations to the Reverend Mother and her devoted staff of teachers.. for the excellent progress their school made last year in all its departments. With an increasing staff, greater efficionov. and higher average attendance followed If the as the inevitable consequence, course of the school's development should. progress at the rate obtained last year, they might be led to see the school double in number within the next ten years; The first class equipment of the School and the acquisition of the apparatus for the physics class all point to a desire on the part of the administration to bring the school well abreast of the time, so that all scholars attending it might derive all the advantages that are offered by a well-organized and ably staffed institu- tion.

Addressing the elder girls, his Lordship said that the other day. he heard discussed, at the meeting of the Catholic Women's League, the question of Girl Guides.
