All attempts to be sent in by 20th December, 1913, so that the prize may be awarded before Christmas.

Every advertisement for any article must be accompanied by a wrapper or label of the article for which your advertisement is written. Hints may be taken from the labels,

It is not necessary to send in an advertisement for all our pro- ducts as enumerated overleaf, but, as versatility counts, it is better to send in attempts advertising as many of our products as possible.

Advertisements may take any shape or form suitable for either Handbills, Posters, Newspaper Advertisements, &c. They may be in prose, rhyme; catchy phrases, sketches, designs, &c., &c.

In worded advertisements, whilst English is preferred, any language will stand an equal chance of winning the prize. They should be set out in the style in which you would like them to appear if you were the advertiser.

All advertisements should be sunt in under a nom de plume, so that your name need not be published. Your own name and address should be given for private reference.

All attempts should be posted or sent to " Santa Clays," P.O. Box 351, Hongkong, before 20th December, 1913,

It is very desirable, but not essential, that as well as sending a wrapper for each of your advertisements, you also send this handbill of the announcement of the competition. One handbill will be sufficient for all your advertisements.

The prize (valued $250) will be awarded to the entrant who sends in the best advertisement or set of advertisements for our Products. The prize will take the form of an order on any one of more of the undermentioned firms, for goods to the value of $250 in. all. For example, you may ask for an order on, say, any five shops, of the value of $50 for each shop — Messrs. Lane, Crawford & Co.

You may send as many attempts as you desire, but each attempt for each article must be accompanied by a label of the article taken as the subject of your attempt.

In addition to the above prize, we offer Ten Consolation Prizes consisting of a large, representative assortment of our goods.

The competition is open to residents not only in Hongkong, but also to those living in any part of China and its environs.

We reserve the right to utilize any of the attempts sent in, whether same win a prize or not;

In the event of any dispute, our decision is to be accepted as final, and our awards as to the winning attempts are also to be considered as final.

NOTE-Entries MUST be sent in before 20th December, 1913, as we wish to award Prizes before Christmas.
