CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S PARCEL MAIL.

Tie Public are informed that the. Paroel Mail to the United Kingdom and Countries Legend which will be closed in this Office at 5 pm, on the 21st November will be treated us the Now Year Mail, and is due to reach London on the 27th December. Parcels misy be forwarded vis Brindisi with an extra feo of 60 cents, and with this mail are duo in London on the 20th December.

Parcels containing Gold or Silver must be insured for at least part of their valus. All insered Parcels must Le sealed. All the seals must be of the same coloured war, and minet bear the impression of a private device. This devies must be the same on each seal, Straight, ourred, crossed or dotted lines are not admissible, Battons, Coins and Thimbles. oanket be used for sealing.

The Clerks of the Post Office sro forbidden to allix stamps on leiters or parcala or to meal any article for the pablla. Parcels that in the opinion of the offcor handling the same do not comply with the regulations will not be accepted.

It is requested that Parcels be posted early.
