Attention is drawn to the re-opening of the Tientsin, Pakow Railway Mail Service connecting with the Trans-Siberian Mail Service Mails will be closed locally to make the necessary con- nection at Shanghai whenever possible.
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S PARCEL MAIL
The Public are informed that the Christmas Parvel Mail to the United Kingdom and Countries beyond will be closed in this Office at 5 p.m., on the 7th November. This Parost Mali by the long zea ronto via Gilhalter is due to reach Loudon on the 13th December. Th following Mail of the 21st November will be treated as the Now Your Mai, and is due to resoh Lordon on the 27th December. Parcois may be forwarded via Brindisi with an extra foe of 60 conse, and with this mail are due in London on the 2011 December
Parcels containing Gold or Bilder must be insured for at least part of their valno. All insured Parcels must to sealed. All the seals must be of the same coloured wax, and must bear the impression of a private device. This device must be the same on each seal.. Straight, enrved, crossed or dotted lines are not admissible Huttons, Caine and Thimbles canart be used for sealing.
The Clarks of the Peat Oflies are forbidden to affix stamps on letters or parcels or to seal any article for the public. Parcels that in the opinion of the officer handling the same do not comply with the regulations will not be accepted,
