In the last Discal year the Customs receipts amounted to X15,039,160, or $27,490,694 more than for the preceding year. In the last four years the duties on imports hari almost doubled. The largest individual source of Canada's inports is the United States, from which Canadians bought $276.330,434 worth of dutiable and $164.895,421 worth of Tree goods.
