THE DYSENTERY EPIDEMIC.
HOW TO AVOID IT, AND HOW TO FORTIFY THE BYSTEM IF ATTACKED.
The gravity of dysentery, which is often so rapidly fatal, cannot be exaggerated. Hence this article, which is published in the best interests of the commanity.
While at the first onset of diarrhea everyone should consult his doctor, that the disease may be nipped in the bud, he should remember that the same treatment which will build up his strength to over come the disense will also prevent hi getting it.

THE STATUE OF KING EDWARD IN PARIS.
The British Ambassador and Lady Feodorówna Bertie last month inspected the equestrian statue of King. Edward VII. in the studio of the sculptor. M. Paul Landlewski. The static will be erected in the newly-built Place Edouard Vil which will then formally be opened to the public. The Place Edouard VII, is in the new street of that name which pens of the Boulevard des Capucines, and turns off at right angles to the Rue Caumartin. The buildings in the street and in the place are colonnaded, and the now thoroughfare is expected to become a fashionable shopping centre.
