Cathedral, which some local Ladies and Gentlemen Amateurs will take part. We are requested by the Committee of the Bocioty to invite the Public in general to honour the occasion with their prosenco.

TOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an GENERAL MEETING of the "STAR" FERRY CO.. LTD, will be held at the Offices of Mesers. JARDINE, MATHESON & CO. LTD., Pedder Street, Hongkong, on WEDNESDAY, 16th JULY, 1913, at 1230 o'clock in the afternoon, when the subjoined Resolations will be proposed

1. That the Capital of the Company be increased from $300,000 to $400,000 by the creation of 10,000 now Shares of $10

2. That the Directors bo and they are hereby anthorised to distribute $100,000 from the Reserve Fund amongst the persons who are Registered as Shareholders of the Company on such date as the Directors may decide by way of tonus in proportion to the number of Shares hold by them on such last mentioned date and that such boons be payable on such dato as the Directors may appoint.

Where snob distribution would involve a payment of a fraction of cents much fraction shall be ignored.

3. That the Directors may be authorised to offer at par to every person Registered as a Sharebi der on each date as the Directors may decide one now Share of the Company for every completo three old Shares hold by him on which all calle have been

pald sach new Share being (subject to the shore condition as to fractions) equal in nominal amount to the bones payable to him for every complete three old Shares bold by him under the last proceding clause and that the nominal amount st euch now. Share be paid to the Company on or before such date as the Directors shall appoint, Buch new Share to participate in the First Dividend Declared offer the issue thereof pari-pass with the oxisting Shares.

4. That the offer of the new Shares as referred to in Resolation (3) must be accepted on or before such date as the Directors shall appoint.

5. That no Shareholder shall be entitled to an offer of any fraction of a new Share in respect of an odd share held by him.

6. That the Directors be authorised to dispose of any now shares offered to a shareholder and declined or not accepted within such terms and conditions and "at such times as the Directors may appoint and of any Harplus new Shares to such persons upon such terms and conditions and at such times as the Directors think it.
