out. The story revolves round Charles Winslow, who has a stram yacht with one cabin, which is luxuriously fitted up... He starts on a' three months' cruise in order not to be disturbed whilst complet- ing what he describes as his epoch-making book, The Inferior Sex, by which name he refers to women. While off the Scilly Istes during dirty weather the crow rescues a pretty girl, Eve Addison, who hngl drifted out to sea in a boat. Winslow is boorish and refuses to alter his plans er to put her on shore at the nearest port. She incites the crew to mutiny and shots are fired. She herself shoots Winslow in the leg. Remorse follows, and after the crew have yielded Winslow also gives in, and she signals to a passing mail.steamer to take her on board. Winslow turns the yacht round and offers £5 to each of the crew if the vessel reaches London within a week. Of course all ends happily by Winslow. altering his mind and throwing cverboard his epoch-making book and a marriage is arranged. Mr. Kenneth Douglas gives a delightful rendering of the. part of Winslow, and Mr. O. D. Clarence, es bjs valet, once again proves himself a cleves character actor, while, Miss Renée, Kelly was charming as Eve. Next month at Daly's Theatre will see a new musical play in three acts, entitled. "The Marriage Market." the scenes being laid in California. The large caste will include Messin. G. P. Huntley, W. H. Berry, and Robert Michaelis and Miss Gersic Miller,
