PANATÇO - FOLLOWERS!: PLIGHT IN RUSSIAN

TRAGLES RELATED...
An Archangel correspondent sends to St. Petersburg, a moving description of the sufferings of Moldaviau pensants, who in mid-winter followed the fanatical monk. Innocentias more than 1,000 miles from the Podelia Government to the Muromsky Monastery, on the Onega River, where he was banished. Ragged, starving and frost-bitten, doath threatened thoin all on the snowy wastes, when the Archangol
guarda authorities sent a force of raml stop their march and arrest their leader, and telegraphed to the Red Cross urgently asking for medical aid, Souz of the pilgrims had money in comparativo plenty, for before starting northwards they had sold their belongings, but it was of no avail in the frozen wilderness.
Their number was well over 1,000, including a great proportion of women and children. They were sent back to their homes by train in warmed vans. The correspondent witnessed the depar ture of one party from the station of Niandome. Frost-bitten ́cheeks, cars,
gers, and toes were the rule rather than the exception. Nearly all the pilgrims were begrined with dirt. Many women and children were in hysterice. The Decupants of one vun were squatted on the
floor, praying with open Bible before
them.
The correspondent questioned the pil grims as to the hold which Innocentias had over them. Incredible as it may sound in the twentieth century, the following is the gist of the replies he received: The followers of Innocentius thought that Jesus Christ Ind appeared in the Onega region, and not in Pales tine.
BELIEF IN MONK'S DIVINITY.
He was seized there, but was taken clse- where for crucifixion. "Alpha" and Omega" in the "Revelation of St. John designated Our Lord and Innocen tips. (Referener has been made in telo- gram to the confusion of the pensants between Ortega and Onega.) Otherwise why was there housing room for 1,000 persons in the Muromsky Monastery, when the monks only numbered 1002. This was the work of the Lord. They had been shown a 'picture of Innocentias portrayed as Jesus Christ with a nimbus encircling his head and a Cross and chalice in his hands.
The arrest of Innocentius only served to confirm their belief in his divinity, and they recounted how when the rural guards came to arrest biur and one of the guards tried to fire a blank cartriage in order to initmidate him, his rifle had misfired three times. A similar miracle had occurred previously at Balta, in Podolia, when a police officer insulted Innocentius and advanced towards hith threateningly. Innocentius looked straight into his eyes Neither thy hand and said quietly: nor thy foot shall stir." and the polico- man stopped dead, as though paralysed.
On being confronted by the rural guards the pilgrims gathered round
Innocentius, and had to be dragged away
HELD BACK BY ANAEMIA.
The evil hand of Anaemia-- that is, Bloodlessness-holds back many girls from the path of bright, healthy womanhood. At that all-important time, when their veins should be full of rich, red blond, this Ataenila, creeping on them stealthily, robs them of sparkling eyes and a clear skin. They become thin, miserable, and painfully sallow or white; their heads droop; they are languid and exhausted; their backs ache and they are quite breathless after any exercise.
No medicino over offered to the public has bestowed such important benefits upon wasted anaemic girls as Dr. Williams' .·
