THE HONGKONG DAILY PERSS, THURSDAY, MARCH 30TH, 1913.

We turn to the world and ask all, who scuk the wolfare of mankind, to help to secure the destruction of this opium and save many lives. Let us buru as much of this black drag as possible. The actual cost price of the stocks is about seven or eight WATSON million pounds sterling. If the world will help us we can raise enough to burn it all and put an end to the cursed traffic. It is & CO., LTD., not to save the opium speculators from their Jass, they deserve it, but once and for all to put an end to this source of danger and save human lives. There seems no other way, is the traders and banks demand their cost, China is not responsible for the WINE & SPIRIT MERCHANTS, Presence of this opium, but she is exposed to the danger, as long as it is here. Wo cannot buy it all, but we are sure

We appeal to every newspaper, hoth Chinese and foreign, to start subscription lists for this purpose.

We ask every Church and Missionary, and Y.M.C.A. and Fed Crese Society, in and out of China, as well worthy cause and quickly destroy the poison, asavory Anti-Opium Society to aid in this
