LATEST STEAMER MOVEMENTS.
The A.A.S.S. Cu.'s str. Taverelyde passed the Suez Canal on the 7th January, and is due here on or about 5th February. The M.M. str. Magellan is expected to arrive here--fron Europe on the 16th Jamry, at daylight, and will leave for Shanghai and Japan on the same day about C p.m.
Cable adrice has been received from the Yokohama agent of the Toyo Kisen Kaisha to the effect that the silk shipped k str. Shiago Morn, 26th Noveraber, arrived at New York on the 2nd January, being 5 days and 6 hours after steamer' arrival at San Francisco.
