The T.K.K. str. Nippon Maru, with U.S. mails is expected to arrive at this port on the 3rd January, at noon.
The T.K. K. str. Tenyo Maru arrived at Yokohama from Honolulu on the 30th December, and may be expected here on the 9th January.
The P.M. aty. Persia, with the Ameri- can mail, left San Francisco for this port via Japan and Shanghai on the 21st December.
THE AUSTRALIAN MAIL. The L.M.G., str. Coblens left Bydney on the 14th Dessinber, at 11 s.m., and may be expected here on or about 6th January. The E. & A. str. Eastern from Sydney, etc., left Port Darwin on the 29th Decem- ber for Manila and this port.
THE ENGLISH MAXL
The P. & O. str. India left Singapore for this port on the 29th December, at m., with the outward English 'mails, and is due hers on the 3rd January, ́at about 7 a.m.
THE GERMAN MAIL,
The IG.M. str. Goeden, carrying the German mails with dates from Berlin of: the 11th December, left Colombe on the 20th December, p.m., and may be expected. here on or about 9th January,
MERCHANT STEAMERS.
The 0.8.K. str. Panama Maru, from Tacoma, left Shanghai on the 31st Decem- ber, a.m., and is expected to be here on the 3rd January, á.za.
The str. Capri left Singapore for this port on the 27th December, and may be expected here on OT about the 4th January.
Shanghai and returning via Kobe (Inland Sea) and Mej to Hongkong.
These vessels have all modern improvements and are fitted throughout with Electric Läght, A duly qualified surgeon is also carried.
