VESSELS EXPECTED.

THE AMERICAN MAIL,

The .M. str. Koren arrived at Manila on the 20th August, between noon and 8 po, and will sail from that port on the 24th August between 2 and 4 p.m., and is due to arrive here on the 28th August, The T.K.K. str. Shango Maru Mtrived at Yokoham from Honolulu on the 19th August, left for Hongkong on the 21st August. and is due here on the 30th August.

The P.M. str. Siberia left San Fran-: cisco for Hongkong via Honolulu, the Japan porta and Shanghai on the 10th August.

The T.R.K. sbr. Chigo Maru arrived at San Francisco from Honolulu on the 19th August, and sails for Hongkong via nsual ports of call on the 31st August.

THE AUSTRALIAN MAIL.

The E. & A. str. Empire left Poll Dar- win on the 17th August, for this port (via Timor and Manila).

THE CANADIAN MAIL.

The C. P.R. Co.'s R. M. A. Empress of Japan left Vancouver, B.C., for Hong- kong (via usual ports of call) on Wednes- day, the 14th August, at a.m.

MERCHANT STRAMERS.

The str. Glenogle left Rangyon on the 21st August for Hongkong via Penung and Singapore, and is expected to arrive here on the 2nd September.

The Barber Line str. Sabut Putrich loft New York on the 26th July, for Hong- kong and Far East via the Straits.

The str. Glenfarg passed the Suez Canal on the 9th August for Hongkong. via Straits.

The "Mogul Line "str. Montrose sail- ed from United Kingdom on the 17th August for Hongkong via the Straits.

The Barber Line str. Wray Castle sailed from New York on the 18th August for Hongkong via the Struits.

The T.K.K. str. Hongkong' Mara· arrived at Coronel from Valparaiso on the 18th August and leaves there on her homeward journey to Hongkong on the 28th August..
