The German str. Tsintas reports. Very strong weather, wind N.E to S.E. and high sea and swell from Heikow to Hong- kong.

The British str. Glenjulloch reports: thener to Fine weather to 10deg. .. 10leg. N. strong menon. On the 23rd nly, deg. N. strong gale and high sea and every indication of a typhoon to the northward; hove ship to on the 24th, the weather imoderating and glass rising. Kept the ship on her course and had fin weather thence to port.

TUS AMERICAN WAIL.

The U.S. mail has been transferred at Yokohama to the C.P.R. str. Manteagle due to arrive at this purt on the 7th July.

The P. M. str. Mangalin arrived at Manila on the 21th. between 10 and 12 p.a, and will sail from that part for Hongkong, on the 27th July, between G and 8 p.m., and is due to arrive at Hong- koog on the 20th July, at 10 a.m.

The T.K.K. str. T'enyo Mary loft Honolulu for Hongkong via Japan ports and Manila on the 18th July, and is ex- pected to arrive here on the 12th August. THE AUSTRALIAN MAIL.

The E. & A. str. Eastern, from Sydney, ete, left Manila on the 28th July, at

1 p.m., for this part.

The E. & A. str. Aldenham left Sydney on the st July, for this port via. Queens land Ports and Manila.

THE CANADIAN MAIL.

The C.P.R. str. Monteagle arrived at Shanghai on the 23rd July, at 11.30 a.m., Rad left again at 4 p.m, same day for Hongkong, where she de due to arrive on the 26th July, at 8 a.m.
