Two equal systems of elevating pumps and their respective engines, situated and disposed in such a way as to per mit each pump to be connected to any engine and each engine to any pump indifferently allowing, besides this, the HE Steamship two systems, engine and pump to be con- jugated in the works of raising water to the same reservoir.

The type of engine and pump to be chosen by the bidder.

The characteristics of each system should be such as to produce, in normal work, the elevation of 180 cubic meters of water per hour to the Guis reservoirs situated 80 meters above sea level.
