The C.P.I. str. Empress of Japan arrived at Shanghai on the 24th April, at 3 R.m., and left again at 2 p.m. same day. for Hongkong, where she is due to arrive on the 27th April, at 8 am.

THE GERMAN MAIL.

The I.G.M. str. Buelow, carrying the German mails, left Singapore on the 27th Ap at 10 a.m., and may be expri here on or about the 1st May, at noon.

THE MERCHANTS STEAMER), The Mogul Line str. Lothian from United Kingdom left Singapore on the 24th April, u.m., and is therefore due here on or about 90th April.

The I.G.M. str. Kleist left Shanghai

The cargo of Silk shipped on board the str. Tourane, which left this port on the 26th ult, was delivered in Lyons on the 27th April.

The str. Ceylon left Suez on the 22nd April, and is expected to arrive here on or about the 20th May.

INDO-CHINA STEAM NAVIGATION CO., LTD. Hopeans, from Calcutta, is due in Hong-

koug 30th April.

Hongkong 7th May.

The str. Muttra is due bors on the 28th from Japan, and leaves on the Eath for Rangoon via the Straits.

WESTWARD.

The 2.6.MUTTRA" will leave HoseKONG for SINGAPORE, PENANG and RANGOON on ist May, at Daylight, followed by the 8.8. "FULTALA,” on 10th May, takitig Cargo and Passengers at Current Rates.

The above Steamers have excellent saloon accommodation for passengers and are atted with all modern conveniences.
