The open market rate of discount is easier at 31 per cent, the Bank of England rate remaining at 3 per cent. Bar Silver closes at 27 5/18 spot, 27 7/16 forward, and Sterling T.T. at 1-11 7/16. The T.T. rate on Shanghai closes at 73.
