The C.P.R. Co.'s str. Empress of India arrived at Shanghai at 5.30 s.m., on the 27th inst., and leaves again at 4 p.m. same day for Hongkong, where she is due to arrive at 9 a.m. on Saturday, the 30th inst.

The I.G.M. str. Kleist, carrying the German mails with dates from Berlin of the 6th inst., left Coloinbo on Monday, st p.m., and may be expected here on or about Friday, the 5th inst., at a.m.
