The Director beg to submit to share holders their report with a statement of accounts for the year ended 31st Decem ber, 1911.1.

The ordinary meeting of shareholders in the above Company was held on Saturday at the Hotel. Hon. Mr. E. Osborne pre- sided, and there were also present Dr. J. W. Noble, Messrs. W. H. Potts, (directors), Messrs. . Kadoorie, F. B. L.

The profit was not so large as during the same period of 1910 but I think we could hardly ex- pect it to be otherwise considering the unsettled state of affairs in China, which to our certain knowledge has had the effects of diverting tourists to other routes of travel.
