NERVOUS DEBILITY.
THE HONGKONG DAILY PRESS, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 5rø, 1011.
IN PREVENTION AND CUAN, Diseases apart, there is probably no condition held in greater draad by the inhabitanta of hot countries than nervous debility,
Everybody knows the conditions which pro- duce it, ma everybody knows the enervating and deproewing effects which it causer,
The immediate need of very sufferer is, obviously, to get better as quickly as possible. This
in, however, by no means an easy matter with the use of the ordinary remedies. The ednsequence is that man, and women too, find themselves becoming more and more depressed in mind and more and more weakened in body De the days go by, and they seem farther then ever away from the' greatly desired sad hoped for ours.
It is not easy to exaggerate the depression this combination of mental and physical weak- ness is capable of producing. It may even go to the extent of so unhinging the patient's mind that he masks to put an end to his misery by self-destrustion.
Happily, modern Science is able to hold out to those unfortunate people not merely a hope, but a promise of sure which amcants to an absolute certainty, The rehabilitation of the mental faculties, the revitalization of the servons fanotions and the complete restoration of the original vigour and vitality, are all obtainable by means of Saratogen, which is now universally known both by the medical profession and by the general public as the greatest tonic food in the world..
ALWAYS KNOW THE REMEDY YOU USE. It owes its unique reputation to its remarkable composition, which chemically combines the body. building part of the purest cow's milk with that salt of phosphorous which is found in the brain and perrous system. These two, thus intimately combined, produce a substance as entirely dif ferent from themselves when merely mixed to gether as water is different from the two gases which compose it.
The result of this chemical unionin
Sanstoren produces a food which does not merely stimulate, but also revitalises and rein- vigorates the whole nervous system, so that no matter how much its power has been diminished it is gradually restored, and keyed, as it were, to the pitch of perfect hesith. With the im provement of nerve and blood, the lastreless eyes become bright, the pallid, waxy complexion takos on the rosy has of health, the fooid muscles become strong and firm, and the over waried body becomes vigorose, and permeated with an altogether annanal sensation of energy. In part, some of these benefits are due to the restored nutrition of the body as a whole, for Baustogen is so easily digestible that it imposes no strain at all the weakened stomach and digestive organs. These, naturally, share in tlo general condition of debility due to the lack of nervousforos, and set with their normal vigour when the nerve force of the body: is restored,
Complete evidence of Banatagen's value in oy rooming this course of nervous weakoser is furnished in the following letters from two of the most distinguisher! women living.
он
TWO FÄVOUS ENGLISHWOMEN.
Lady Henry Somerset, the celebrated social reformer, writes:-"Saontogen undoubtedly restores sleep, invigorates the nerves and brass the patient to health. I have watched its effect on people whose nervous systems have been en«. tirely undermined, and I-lave proved Saustegen to be most valuable.”
to Even when this- nervous_condition goes the extreme length of Nourasthenia,, which often threatens the reason and the life of the sufferer, Bapatogen is espable of dissipating the gloom and dispersing the black clouds of apprehensions which overshadow the sufferer's life, and, if persevered with, will restore complete Dervous and physical health. In this respect Madame Sarah Grand, one of the most brilliant woman noveliste living, writes:- "Samatogen has done everything for me whisk it is said to be able to do for cases of nervous debility and exhaustion. I began to take it after nearly four years' enforced idleness from extremo debility, sad now (after only four months), I find myself able to enjoy both work and play srain, and also able to do as much of both as I ever did."
With regard to the nervous debility eurendered by life in hot climustes, Mr. E. C. Desbrulais,
