The attention of the public is drawn to page 10, para 20, of the Hongkong Postal Guide for 1911. Stamps intended for Portage purposes may be perforated but not obliterated.

The Delhi, with the Siberian Mail, is due to arrive here to-morrow.

The Public are Informed that the Christmas and Now Year Parcel Mail to the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe by the long sea route xia-Gibraltar will be closed in this Office on Friday, the 10th of November, 1911, at 5 PM. This Parod Mait is due in London on ur about the 16th of December. The subsequent Parcel Mail is not due to reach London before the 30th of December. Parsels may be forwarded via Brindisi with an extra fee of 60 cents.

Parcols containing say article of Gold or Silver or Saver Mounted Goods must be insured- for at least part of their value,

All insured parcels must be sealed, all the seals must be of the same kind of war and must boar distinct impressions of a private device. The device on each soal mast be the same. Regimental Buttons or Badges, Carvel: Crossed or Dotted lines are not almissable. Coins mast not be used for sealing.

The Clerks of the Post Oftee are not allowed to seal or to affix stamps or letters or parcels for the public.

Tavels that in the opinion of the officer accepting the same do not comply with the rogulations will not be accepted.
