EXPORTS TO PHILIPPINE ISLANDS. The exports from Hongkong to the Philip pine Islands show a decrease of 8350,091 com- pared with 1909, This loss was due principally to decreased shipments of cattle, owing to quarantine regalations in the Philippines, and BY popular English Manufacturers. In all to reduced exports of coment, occaaloned by the completion of certain public works and to the grosing competition - In this traite, par- almost complete loss of the four trade is due to direct shipments from the United States instead of drawing upon Hongkong stocks, and this is the case with several other articles. The following were the articles and their value exported from Hongkong to the Philippine Islands during 1909 and 1910: -
