CANADIAN POLITICS:
LONDON, September 6th: The Times correspondent at Toronto states that the quarrel between the Government and the Nationalists in Quebec has become most bitter, while the Liberal Press in the English provinces is violently attacking Mr. Borden, the leader of the Opposition, for kis apparent alliance with the Nationalists. The latter, who denounce every naval policy, have now declared squarely against Reciprocity, and consequently, the Con- servatives and the Nationalists are united in trade policy and hostility to Sir Wilfrid Laurier, though divided on the question of naval policy.
