SINCE the Committes appointed to make arrangements for the local celebration of the Coronation of their Majesties KING GEORG V. and Queen MARY invited the public to make known their views regarding a permanent local memorial of the Coromation, five suggestions have been offered for consideration through the medium of our columus. Adding these to the three already considered by the Committee, there are at least eight from which to make a selection.
They are --
1. Extension of Jubilee Road round the island, 2. A Clock Tower on the new Post Office. 3. Naw Pier in place of Stitae Wharf.
4. Bathing beaches with Pavilions, for Chinoso |

Up to this time he had always enjoyed a goed roputation and met his liabilities with panctuality and in fail. By reason of his reputation he was able to obtain credit. The firm and the various partners were reputed to have largo estates in Singapore, Canton and Hongkong.
