Continuing the report of the hearing of the charge brought at Shanghai against Ima Raymond Michael, we make the following ex. tracts from the proceedings on the 15th inst.:- Witness said he was unable to produce one contract with Somekh and one with Kadoorie.

Mr. Oppe (prosecuting solicitor)-You have made a complaint that the Stock Exchange asked you to sign a bankruptcy notice against Carmichael P-Yes.

Mr. Oppe-Now were not you asked by the Cathay Trust to sign that noties!The Ex- change and the Cathay Trust.

Mr. Oppe--When you were asked frst by the Calhay Trust, didn't you any that if tho Stock Exchange asked you you would reply ?- I said I was an agent for the committee.
