ITS CAUSE AND CURE.

This distressing complaint so common in all hot countries is -caused by the Bile overflowing in the Blood. It is not an in- dependent disorder but the symptoms of other complaints which cause the Bile to overflow in this manner instead of entering the intestines to perform its mission of aiding in the digestion and assimilation of food. Jaundice causes the skin and eyes to become yellow, and vomiting, 'nadisea, diarrhea, or constipation, less of appetite, bad taste in the mouth, flatulence, belch. ing and pains in the stomach may all be accompanying symptoms. The disordered condition of the Liver is the most common cause of this complaint and a remedy that will reach the Liver is the only effective one. Dr. Morse's Indian Root Pills reach the Liver as no other reinedy does, speedily causing the Bile to flow through its proper channel. They get at the cause of the complaint driving the poison out of the blockl, and toning the entire system. There is no more effective remedy for this complaint, as a trial will prove, than Dr. Morse's Indian Root Pills which are a positive and permanent cure for all Liver and Kidney dis- orders, Constipation, Eiliousness, Impure Blood, and Female Ailments.

A less accurate perception of the olements of success in wirertising was displayed by soms of the speakers at this conferenes in their references to their relations with newspapers as the chief advertising mediuni. A view was expressed, which appears to be very generally current among advertisers, that advertisements should no longer be confined to the column allotted to that purpose. It is argued that -large part of the revenue of newspapers is derived from advor fsers, and that they ought, therefore, to corsider it part of the bargain to print editorial recommendations of the adver tisers' wares. It is curious that the same men of business who express appreciation the sains of straightforwardness in the foru of their advertisements should be so bind to it in the means of their publication. To imagine that, on the barest grounds of mer cantile profit, such a policy as they suggest can be lont successful is to overlook precisely those reactions on the pubiis mind which it is the business of the intelligent advertiser to osti mate aright.
