A NEW TIME-TELLER.
Cork tissue, or "tissu-linge," the novel water- proof fabric new being made in Franco, is ordinary cloth with a lining of work only 1/250 | up to two miles. This has been supposed of an inch thick, and in a substitute for rabber aloth that is claimed to be free from most of the defects of that material. Before being sliced into thin layers, the cork is freed from its resions matter, thus becoming very flexible. The thin sheets are then pressed into the outer cloth, forming a perfect lining for cotton, wool, silk, ramis, folt or leather; and the resin-freeing treatment has made the cork no pliant that it may be folded without breaking. The outer cloth or other material is unchanged in appearance. A garment from the cork-lined fabric is soft and comfortable, is perfectly proof against water, does not deteriorate like rubber cloth, is very light, and has no odour. When desired, another lining of cloth may be used to sover the cork layer,

HERPIOIDE
1
I am sending you my pho'ograph to show what Newbro's Herpicide has done for me, Since I first tried Herpicide upon my hair I have used it oxclusively in giving scalp treatments to others, and I would not think of trying to get along without it."
2007 Aroker Ave., Chicago, Ill.
(Signed) Mrs. ANNA CONNER.
Endreds of lady scalp specialists and bair dressers use and recommend Newbro's Herpicide, instead of predvete of their own manufacture upon which a much larger profit could be made. The claim that Herpicide makes friends for them and gives much better satisfaction, Some hair dressers use Horpicide for chatinate ses only, but why not use the vest first ?
Harpicio is a delightful dressing that can be used when there is no disesse of the hair or scalp, and as an zotnal remedy for dandruf, itching scalp and falling hair it stands in a class singularly its own.
Many Indies object to gommy and eliaky hair dressing, or one that is full of sedimentary chemicals intended to dys the hair. The marked preference for a clean and dainty preparation, particularly one that overcomes excessive viliness and laayos the hair hebt and fluffy, is reflected in the encrmons sale of Newbra's Horpiede. Discriminating isdies become enthusiastic over its refreshing quality and exquisite fragrance. It stops itching of the scalp almost instantly

Dear Sirs, -It is now about five years since Angier's Emulsion was recommended to me by a doctor, and 1 bave found it invaluable for indigestion and stomach catarrh, as well as for toning up the system I was very much run down when I first took it, but improved immediately, and gained in weight 15 lb. in twelve weeks.
