COLONIAL OFFICER'S APPOINTMENT AT

A scheme for absorbing Colonial officers into the Army has beon elaborated by the Imperial Generalstoff, and has been initiated at Aldershot, where Colonel H. R. Daries, of the Now Zealand Militia, has been appointed to succeed Brigadier General Colin Mackenzie, who was in command of the 6th Infantry Brigade at Aldershot.
