ME. WALTER JACKSON INTERVIEWED.
We (Grenier's Rubber Net) had the pleasure of an interview with Mr. Walter Jackson on his robarn from China aftor making arrangements for establishing a Labour Burcan there. Mr. Jackson, as our readers may be aware, is the Slonager of The Planters Labour Burean (F.M.8.), Ipoh, and told our representative that he experienced no difficulty in securing agricultural labourers for work on the rubber plantations in Malay. On the other band as an instance of the anxiety of the coolies to emigrate to those parts, he mentioned that a whole village near Brator, men, women and children were willing to come and settle down in Malaya. It is true that general its among the Chinese Jo Bourers was that Malaya was a will country, so to spook, but Mr. Jackson soon dispelled this delusion by shewing then photographs of some of the principal strests in Ipoh and other towns of the F.M.S
