The stocks of Para rubber in London at the end of September were unly 367 tons, as against 442 tous at the end of September, 1908, while those of the plantation variety amounted to 134 tons, as against 194 tons in 1908. In Liverpool only 1,026 tons were in stock, as compared with 1,857 tons last year. This decrease in stocks has not come about through any falling off in importations, these really being in excess of thoas of last year. The imperts for the ten months saded October 31 amounted to 28,326 tons as against 23636, tons in the corresponding period of 1908.
