Of other characters two of the most interesting are clergyman. The one, though earnest and sincere, by narrow views tends to seperate the struggling coal from Christ and the church. The other, with that Christian charity which is kind, thinketh no evil, believeth all things, hopeth all things comforts the struggling soulau points the path of duty as the only path that can be followed All clergymen would do well to study the types as seen by a thoughtful layman.

The title of the book is not a good one, and the lustration on the cover is unfortunate. The book, however, is clean and healthy, and one cannot doubt that it will attain the object of the author in assisting to advance the cause of marriage and the high ideal of wife and motherhood.
