THE VISIT OF THE PHILIPPINE SQUADRON.
The American Consulate General communi. rates to us telegraphic information from Admira Harber, commanding the Third Squadron of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, that he expects to arrive at Hougkeng to-morrow evening instead of on Saturday morning as previously arranged.
The squadron comprises the cruiser Charleston (flagship), Denver, Chattanooga, Galveston, and Cleveland, and, as it is some considerable time since American warships visited the port in such number, arrangements are being made locally for the entertainment of the officers and mer... H.E. the Governor will invite the officers to dinner on
