- The Public are informed that the Christmas and New Year Parcel Mails to the United Kingdom will be closed in this office at 5 pan. to-day.

This parcel mail by the long sea rauta is due in London on the 19th of December, Parcela may ha: forwaoled via BRINDISI with an extra fee of 60 cents, such parcels

on or about the 11th December with the letter mail. are due to trach London

Parcels containing Gold or Silver must be insured for at least part of their value. All fisured parcels must be sealed, all the seals must be of the same kind of wax, and must bear disture impressions of sorve device, and this device must be the same on each seal, Straight, carved or crossed lines are not alustable.

Coins must not be used for sealing. The Clerks of the Post Office are forbidden

to mal parcels for the public, or to thx stamps on letters or parcels.
