The Empress of Japan, with the Canadian mail left Shanghai on Monday, the 22nd inst. at 4,30 p.m. and may be expected hers on or about Thursday, the 25th inst, at 9am.

she is due to arrive at 8a.m. to-day.

The C.P.R. str. Empress of Japan' left Var- conver p.m. on Wednesday, the 3rd inst, via the usual ports of call.

VY THE ENGLISH HALL,

The F.&O. str. Derania left Singapore for this port on the 19th inst at 6 pm. with the outward English Mails, and is dus here to- morrow at about 8 a.m.

THE GÉINAK MAIL The I.G.M. str. Prinz Waldemar left Sydter au Tuesity, the 2nd inst, at noon, and may be expected here to-morrow,

The 1.0.M, str. Prinz Ludwig carrying the German Mails with dates from Berlin of the 2nd inst., left Colombo on the 19th inst. p.m., and may be expected here on or about the 30th inst.
