A register of innacations which are prepared to accept Chinese youth has been compiled by the Committee, as well as a list of families, private tutors and boarding establishments who are willing to receive Chinese students and to arrange for their board, lodging or instruction
The Committes are prepared to arrange that Chinese youths abali be met on arrival in Eng tand and duly placed in such schouls or just- tutions as their parents may wish them to join. Arrangements can also be made for the pro- vision of homes for students during vaotion time. A list will be kept of the addresses of all students wishing to avail themselves of -the-sorcises of the Committen who will be prepared to keep in touch with these students and to afford them at all times their advice and Basistang.
Attention is called to the fact that the minimum estimate for the annual expenses of a Chinese, student in England, in from £190 to £200, that fees are invariably payable in advance. and that it is most desirable that no student should be sent to this country who is not possessed of at least su elementary knowledge of the English language. The Committed will insist that no sectarian teaching shall be im Dossed upon studente against the expressed wishes of their parents or guardiada.
By the courtesy of the Committee of the China Aascotation, the Offices of the Association 159, Cannon Stroot, E.C.. have been placed at the disposal of the Committee.
