The Press Association is authorised to state, with reference to recent rumours respecting Cammell, Esird, and Company, that upon sortain conditions being complied with, the Admiralty and Wer Öfles are prepared to reatore Cammell, Laird, and Company to their list of contractors.
Among the conditions are the following:

Mr. Francis Elgar, formerly director of H.M. Dockyards, and managing director of the Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Com- pany, has been appointed chairman with foll power to effect the necessary reconstruction and reorganisation and the other improvements that are requisits.

THE BOURBON WEDDING.
LONDON, November 9th, The Infanta Dom Carlos (Prince Charles of Bourbon), who is to be married to Princess Louise of Orleans at Wood Norton, near Fro- bam, on Saturday next, arrived in London last. evening

On leaving Charing cross her Majesty drove to the Portuguese Legation to take tes, and to get a couple of hours' rest, after which she drove to Paddington, and left by the 6.15 train for Wood Norton.
At Evesham Station, where a band played the Portuguese National Anthem as the train steamed in, the large crowd which bad assembled. raised hearty cheers. The Queen started for Wood Norton in motor-osx. The party had hardly left the station yard when the motor broke down, and they had to transfer themselves to a second car which was following.
