MOTOR NOTES FROM, HOMESTI
[Written for the Hongkong Daily Preu.]
London, October 23th. Ramours were rife" last week that Messrs." Humber Ltd., had decided to place their 10-12 h.p., 4 cylinder Coventry model on the market at £200 complete. This is an interesting Announcement for motorists in the East for whom freight charges added to net price bring the total cost to a figure that in many on prohibitive. I should have made some mention of this in my last had it then been more than zamozr. Enquiries, however, substantiate it as far as is possible short of a direct list announcement by the firm in question. The model referred to is a popular one, and its y, though not for long it is hoped especially for the conveyance of passengers appearance at the price named will doubtless and mails. Many g of the common words in use in Japan are from the Aine, and much of the Alon mythology has be handed down it Japanese tradition. Dr. Griffs sketches the early history of Japan from the Ainu or aboriginal side, and he uses frealy what is called the froatier theory. He belieras that the Ainu, speaking an Aryan tongus, once jubabited all Japan. He pays eloquent tribute to the Japanese as a race, and he remarks that he has been ridiculed for causing the name of Bai Sanyo, the historiau, to be placed | upsu western side of the Beaton Public Library.
