In a novel electroplating process lately developed in France, the solution-which may beaty of the usual plating batha-is contained in a brush, which is connected to the positive pole of the electric circuit while the object to be plated is connected to the negative pole, and simply brushing the well cleaned object gives regular and adherent deposit. The thickness of -the layer formad depends on the duration of the brashing and the number of applications to each sbot. Larger objeofs than usual can be covered, and a surface may be plated with enteral differout metals, thus giving a varied decoration.
