Owing to its easy absorption, LEMCO is of great value in fever cases. Doctors recom

Mr. Maloney hurried oastward as fast as a pecial train could carry him, but he could not find his daughter and she is believed to have sailed on the "Majestiolait Wednesday with Mr. Charkon.
Mt. Maloney learned that his daughter had gone to the Waldorf Astoria Hotel for luncheon on Tuesday. Here she sluded her maid, and quietly drove away with Mr. Clarkson. No fewer than 27,000 Invitations were issued for the annual reception at the Borril Factory, Old Street, London B. C. which took place od the 25th and 26th September The Chairman, The Earl of Bassborough, C.V.O., C.B., and the Directors of the Company were present and amongst other may be mentioned Members of the London County Conncil. various Board of Guardians,
and representatives of public institutions, and General Sir William Wilson, K.C.M.E. The visitors were conducted in parties up the marble stairs into the "home of Berril" which is veritable
&
palace, and as regards cleanliness and brightness it is safe to my there is not another factory in London that Can compare with it. The beautiful polished white tiles throughout the building and the clean concrete floors, together with the free circula. tion of airand the abundance of light went far to explain the healthy ap earance of the busy factory bands, all of whom have to pass a medical examination. The raw materials were shown in exsally the same form they are reasived from the carefully supervised factories in our various Colonias and the River Plate where the healthiest prairis fed cattle are plentiful. Emphasis was laid upon the fact that Barril is all beef. Then one the splendidly equipped Laboratories where much interest was taken in the delicate instruments and medical appliances, with which the research wok is done. All the raw materials are anbjected to repeated analysen; every batch is examined, and frequent analyses of the finished product are made before leaving the premises. The whole process of manufacture, not only of Bovril, but also of the Company's spooralition sach 2, “Viral "Invalid Jelly," Boril Beef Jelly," "Meat Jaise" "Kados" Cooos and Chocolate. The impression left upon all those who attended, was the oare taken during the process of manufacture to ensure the absolute parity and standard good quality of Bovril. During the whole process of manufacture, Bovril is never once tonobed by hand, every thing, being done by specially prepared machinery.
