Unfailing Vigour

and Endurance:

To be suprenie iti one thing, to do it better than any one else, is to enjoy that sense of power which comes to every man who has battled triumphantly im the front rank. Many men get into the front ran but low stop there, because the spurt has left dies tos tocak and werveless to hold the position wen. there is an indivilad man who knows, more th anyone else, how to keep to the front, that ning s Ton Burrows, the World's Champion Co Swinger, whinge feats of physical prowess am monuments of endurance and vigour, and whose ehphatic assurance that he would certainly have broken down but for a few timely doses o Phoslerine embodies experience which practica) folk should profit by Tom Burrows, can do one" thing better than anyone else. he has won his way imo the front rank, and has the eitrance and energy to stay there, and when he and other lainous piceat day athletes stale thai Phosferine in- "creases one's powers of endurance magnificently, and enables site to withstand the effects of fatigue" it is irresistible proof of the conic's extraordinary earrsintag-proposties

How Acquired and Retained.

TOM BURROWS, the World's Champion Club Swinger, writes:-"I am Constantly being asked how it is I manage to go on swinging my clubs for 50 and So hours without rest, and yet apparently without showing any signs of nervous exhaustion. I have found it very difficult to get properly to sleep after completing a long swing, owing to a mechanical muscular action which sels my arms swinging again as soon as I have dropped off. Of late I have not been troubled so frequently in this mamer, not even aster my two and a half days (4 hens) swing at Olympia on January 25, for the World's Championship. I chiefly ascribe this recent improvement to the wonderful beneficial effect which Phosferine has always exerted, both before and after any one of my leats., 1 fast, conless there were times when I should certainly have broken down but for a few timely doses of Phoslerine. The tonic winds me up, in a tanner of Speaking; and undoubtedly increases my powers of

• endurance magnificently, and also enables me to withstand the effects of fatigue surprisingly well. At Buen Ayres, in June 1906, I swung 4lb. clubs for 59 rominous bouts, and immediately continued without a stop in an extra two hours display and tancy club swinging contest agains! Macrae, I won that match, but it was a close call, and 1 am convinced that without a dose or two of Phosferine i could filver have got through. I leave for South Africa to- morrow, and have soute big watches there, and I am taking Phosferine with mejuly 9, gn7,
