CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR PARCEL MAILS, HOMEWARD,

THE HONGKONG DAILY PRESS, MONDAY, OCTOBER 7TH, 1907.-

Farsels for the United Kingdom-VIA GIBRALTAR posted up to 5 pm. on Friday, the 1st Novembervare dae in London about the 7th of December, and those posted up to 5 pm. on Friday the 15th November, are due in London on the 21st December.

With an additional fee of 60 cents, parcela may be forwarded via BRISDIST and if posted before 5 p.m. on the 15th November, would accompany the letter mail, due in London on the 18th December.

Parcals intended for New Year's delivery should also be forwarded by the mail of the 18th November, as the next parcel mail of the 291b November is not die London till the 4th January, 1908, unless they are p.sted to be forwarded overland VIA BRINDISI in which case an additional fee of 60 cents must be paid, atch parcels are due in London about the 3 th December,

The rates of postage on ordinary parcels are as follows:-

On and from the 20th instant, the British Post Office, at Tientsin will be closed.

The I.G.M. atr. Goeben loft Kobe vi Naga Baki & Shanghai on Sunday the 29th ult, p.m.,.. and may be expected here tomorrow.

The I.G.M.tr. Prene Woldemar left Sydney on Tuesday the 24th nit., and may to expected. here on or about Wednesday the 16th inst.

THE AMERICAN MAIL,

The N.Y.K. str. Minnesota arrived at Yoko-

ham on the 28th alt. at 7 amp, left Kobe for Hongkong vis seal ports of call ou the 3rd inst, and may be expected here on the 11th inst.

The T.K.K. str. Hongkong Maru sailed from Yokohama on the 2nd inst, and is due to arrive at this port via Muolla on 12th Inst.

THE INDIAN MAIL. The Indo-Chins str. Kumaang left Calcutta. for this port via the Straita on 30th it, and may be expected here on or about 16th inst,

THE CANADIAN MAIL. The C.P.R. str. Monteogle left Vancouver for Hongkong sia vemal ports of call at a.. c Friday the 20th alt.
