GOVERNOR TRESENT PRIZES:
Saturday was the third and last day of the Victoria Recreation Club's aquatio sporta meeting, and needless to say, it was the most successful. The weather still bold good, and there was a large attendance to witness the- several events. The Calcutta Biring Band was present, suil discoursed selections of music during the afternoon. His Excellency the Governor, whies services were unfortunately required elsewhere during the afternoon, arrived at the Club shortly before six o'clock and Haloted she proceedings with keen interest.
