GILBERT'S ROYAL LIQUEUR FIRST QUARTERLY REPORT.
JOHN CLARK, PH. D.F.C.E., F.I.C.,
Public Analyst for the City of Glasgow and_the_Counties of Lanark and Renfrew, &o.
Reports
66 have made a miunte sad careful chemical analysis of a fair sample of several hundred casks of Gilbert's Diamond Brand Royal Hiqueur Blend of Sootch Whisky, taken by myself from the bonded stores in which the sacks are lying, and the results of my analysis indicate that it is pure whisky, which has been matured for a considerable period in Sherry Caske, and from its mild and agreeable favour, I am of opinion that it is a very fue blend of Scotch Whisky."
