Mr. Morrell, from the Crown Solicitor's Office, appeared for the plaintiff, and Me. Otto Kong Sing represented the defendant His Honour said the caso was brought for the recovery of the ront of queerien under a Crown lease. For the deferice it was stated that the defondant had written to the Registrar fleneral cancelling the lense and resigning his position as tonant. The Registrar General necepted the resignation and cancellation and forwarded it to the Government fer confirma tion. The Government neither confirmed nor refoxed the capcollment but did what was the
