pieces of work made out of cloth, that would otherwise be thrown away. These articles are bought by charitable persone and the Sisters are thus helped to keep up their very large establishment, which is maintained by the alms of friends and in a great measure by the earnings of the girls themselves, who lead by no means an idle life within the convent walls.
