TAKE NOTICE that a COMMISSION
has been appointed to sugaire into, and Report on the following matters, viz. -—-
1. Whether the administration of the Sanitary and Building Regulations preted by the Public Health and Build. Jags Ordinance, 1943, as now carried out is satisfactory, and, if not, what improve ments can be maile.
Whether any irregularity or corruption exists or has existed among the Officials charged with the administration of the sforesaid Regulations.
The Commission earnestly invite the Inhabitants of Hongkong and Kowloon 16 co-oporte with them by forwarding any complaint they may have to make or suggestion to offer in commotion with the matters aforesaid to the undersigned.
Any person examine as a witness in the enquiry aforesaid who in the opinion of the Commissioners makes a full and trae disclosure teaching all the matters in respect of which he is oxamined will receive a cartificate from the Commission which will protect the witness against any civil or criminal proceedings which may be instituted against such witness in respect of any matter touching which he has been examined.
