NEW FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS
Couiderable ancisty has heon Fall by thos who control the Imperial Institute as to the of the future of the institution, ic viaw cossation, at the beginning of this year, of the anal grant of 26 which was tavle of the 18o1 oxhibition. Elo commissioners Representations on the mihjeet have been stade to the Government Departments, and it now sppears that arrangements are ahast complete for meeting the deficiency and continuing the scientific work of the institution. Mr. Llewellyn Smith, of the Board of Trade, makes the aasouncement in an introductory note to the annual report of the Imperial Institute, which was in last month.
