EASTER HOLIDAYS

On Friday, Saturday and Monday next, the 13th, 14th and 16th April, the Post Ooo will be opened for one hour only, ie, from 8 a.m. till 9 a.m. All out-going mails will be closed at an. In the event of the arrival of the French Mail from Europe, the Ofleo will be opened for the delivery of the mail, for one hour. There will be one delivery and a collection of letters as on Sundays. The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.

The Sachsen, with the (formar mail of the 13th March, left Singapore on Saturday, the 7th instant, at a way be expected here on or about Thursday, the 12th inst., at daylight.

The Polynesien, with the French mail of the 15th March, left Singapors on Monday, the 9th inst, at 3 pm, and may be expected here on or about Monday, the 16th instaut, This packet brings replies to lettors despatched from Hongkong on the 14th February.

# A Mail for MACAO, is despatched par 9.9. Wingchai on wook days at 5.00 p.m. On Sunday the mail for Macso in closed at 8.00 am.

The I.Q.M. str. Sachsen carrying the German Mails with dates from Berlin of the 13th March, left Singapore on Saturday, 7th inst., at a.m., nd may be expected here on or about. Wodnes day, 11th inst., p.m.

THE FRENCH MAIL,

The M. M. steator Polynesion with the next. French Mail, left Singapore on Monday, the

MRRCHANT STEAMERS, The str. Shimasa sailed from New York on the 16th Jan.

The Harbor Line str. Saint Egbert sailed from Now York for China and Japan on the 14t March.

The steamer Shah Allan left Kobs via Mo on the 1st iust, and may be expected here on or

The ateamer Fliedekire left Singapore on Tuesday, the 3rd ist, and is due tere on or about Tuesday, the 30th inst.
