On New Year's Day the Post Offee will be closed except from 9.00 a.. till 9.00 am. There will be delivery of letters and one collection as on Sundays.

The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.

The Ocean, with the English mail of the 1st December loft Singapore on Sunday the 24h.net, at 10a.m., and may be expected here on or about Friday, the 29th inst., at 10 .. This packet brings replies to letters despatched from Hongkong on 31st October, and the route on 22nd November and parel mails closed in Loudon for despatch by the all sen ior death overland on the 20th November.

A Mail for Macao, is despatched por 9.8. Wingchai, on weekdays at 5.30 p.m. Ca Sunday the mail for Mano is closed at 8.00 am.

EMails for CANTON, SAMSHUI and WCCHOW are closed on week-days at 7.30 am. and at 5.00 p.m.

Ma or NAMTAO, SANBUE, KONOMOON, KUMCHUK, SAMBHUI, and *WUCHOW are closed every weekday, at 5 p.m. On Sundays this mails are closed at 9a..

No mails are despatched to these places on Saturday evenings, unless previously notified.
